About Us
This association is about celebrating Private Practice Managers and the amazing work we do, both front of house and behind the scenes
Practice Management can be an extremely fulfilling role, but also a very demanding one. It’s a very broad role that pulls on all our experience. On any given day, you might be juggling any number of competing priorities, but ultimately, we need to ensure that the day-to-day running of our Practices is a smooth and effective experience for clinicians, administrative teams and most importantly for our patients.
As a Practice manager, firefighting can sometimes feel like ‘the norm’ which can bring its own challenges which we tend to rise above to create a calm, ordered and organised environment. We understand the important role you play, and that’s why we have we established PMPSA to help you and your Practice thrive.
Welcome to PMPSA
PMPSA was formed by two highly experienced Practice Managers; Reshma Rughooputh and Andrea Kresojevic as an organisation to support Practice Managers in the Private Sector.
It’s a forum to help Practice Managers develop, both personally and professionally, through connecting with other Practice Managers to learn about their experiences and to exchange views and ideas. As we know, Practice Management can sometimes feel like an isolated role, so connecting with other Practice Managers and creating a support system is something we can provide.
PMPSA also provides introductions to businesses and companies who offer specialist services tailored to the Private Healthcare sector. These services can streamline your policies, processes and protocols to help manage those daily pain points, improve the operations within your Practice and provide support to refine the day-to-day running of your Practice.

Meet the PMPSA team
Reshma Rughooputh
Reshma has been in Private Practice since 2012, working with two of London’s most prestigious Private GPs Practices in London. Her roles include the Portobello Clinic and subsequent role as Practice Manager for over 7 years at The Courtfield Private Practice, both in Kensington & Chelsea.
Establishing PMPSA has provided a platform to Practice Managers offering a supportive space in which views, ideas and issues can be shared and discussed. It is a space for sharing resources, business contacts and contracts as well as hosting networking events at eliteclinics and hospitals within central London.
“I worked with Reshma for nearly 8 years. Not only was she an organised, conscientious and empathetic Practice Manager, her leadership skills were one that I can only aspire to…”
“Reshma is a fantastic person, full of personality, passionate, dedicated and gives 100% to everyone and everything around her…she knows no other way.”
Andrea Kresojevic
I’ve worked in the Private Healthcare sector since 1998 and have held many roles in GP practices and Private Hospitals, including Practice Manager; GP Liaison officer and Primary Care Manager – each role has had its own challenges and rewards – but all of them have helped me to understand and deal with the broadest demands Private Practice Management provides.
Everything we do comes from the experiences gained from walking miles in your shoes, we understand more than most, how important and valuable you are!
I am looking forward to meeting all the private non-clinical healthcare workers who join the PMPSA and hope you will find our support and resources helpful in your job roles.
